The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is the important government strategy applicable to Childminders and all Early Years providers in England.

Early Years Professional Status
Early Years Professional Status(EYPS) is currently the highest status applicable to Early Years providers in England. A few childminders have achieved this status, including Dave Sheppard, others are working hard towards it.

Merryfields Children's Centre
Merryfields offers excellent facilities for all 0-5 year old children in the Neville Lovett school catchment area of Fareham. There is also a Professional Support Group for Childminders and their minded children on a (term time only) Monday morning from 9:30 to 11:30am.
