We have been providing quality childcare from Jadela House continuously since May 1991. We have extensive equipment and facilities that are regularly upgraded and enhanced.Dave is level 6 qualified in Early Years and level 7 in IT, and was one of the first male childminders in the UK to achieve the Early Years Professional Status EYPS .Ann is level 5 qualified having completed her foundation degree in Early Years through The University of Chichester at Distinction grade.We have both met the highest grading from Ofsted at Outstanding in all areas. We work within the revised Early Years Foundation Stage (2014) statute to provide quality, accredited childcare for all our children.We are both Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years (PACEY) members. Also, we are Ofsted Registered Childminders who have achieved independent 'Outstanding' inspections. 1. Neither of us eat any chocolate - ever. Ann doesn’t like it and Dave is allergic to it.2. We do not have a Facebook, Twitter or other social media account.3. We have never smoked.4. We do not have any pets.5. We occasionally enjoy a glass of White Zinfandel wine.6. Our 13 grandchildren are our greatest delight.7. We try to go to see a London West End show at least once per year.8. Our shared favourite TV programmes are period dramas like ‘War and Peace’ and shows like ‘The Voice’ or ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.9. We never watch any of the regular TV soaps.10. Dave is very interested in Science in general and especially Quantum and Particle Physics!11. Our favourite holidays are cruises - most especially on the gigantic Royal Caribbean ‘Oasis Class’ cruise ships.12. We have known each other since we were aged 7 & 9 living in the village of Sunningdale, Berkshire.13. We love the Murder Mystery Dinners performed each Christmas at Fernham Hall in Fareham.14. Dave does not drink tea, coffee or carbonated (fizzy) beverages, but makes most of Ann’s cups of coffee!15. Since getting married in 1975, at the ages of 17 and 19, we have always shared a joint bank account.16. When checking into our Majorca hotel on honeymoon, the receptionist looked us up and down suspiciously then asked us where our parents were!17. When asked ‘What is the secret of our marriage?’ we can honestly say we rarely argue as we just about agree on everything, plus Dave makes that great cup of coffee!18. Ann is diabetic and Dave suffers with hay fever.19. Dave is the author of a series of four teen fantasy/science fiction novels called ‘The MoonBridge Way’.20. Ann cooks most of the time, but Dave - with the help of Jamie Oliver - does a mean Sunday roast and always cooks the Christmas Lunch.
